MINDSET

To be a writer for instance, you must have perseverance, self-discipline, be focused, and have mental toughness. The same qualities are needed by a musician, the scientist, the anthropologist, the boxer, and the footballer. Who says the art of dating and picking up women does not need the same qualities? You must learn to have will power and the ability to slug it out if need be, the recuperative talent to bounce back after a failure.

GRADUAL CONDITIONING

In boxing, the amateur starts to box by going three rounds. As a new professional, he is made to fight for four rounds. When he builds up stamina and fine tunes his technique, he is , made to fight for six rounds. The conditioning goes on until he has to fight for twelve rounds in a championship bout. As in boxing, you must gradually condition yourself in the game of dating. Unfortunately, there is no other way to become a master in the art except you do this. In the first week, you should try to speak to six women you are meeting for the first time. In the next week, you should increase the number. By the third week, you will start to have the experience needed to become successful in the art.

POINTS SYSTEM

This is another way to gradually condition yourself to be able to pick up women with ease. You can break up the parts of picking up women into the length of time of conversation, the ability to get the phone number and contact address, and the ability to kiss a woman on the first day of meeting her. You set up points for achieving each item. and allocate them to yourself for being able to achieve each or all the parts. You set up a new goal, a target which you have to meet through the points system. As you meet each target and set up new ones, you will find yourself being able to master the art of pick up.

BE DETACHED

In this business, you have to learn to be emotionally detached. The art of pick up or dating should be seen as a game to be enjoyed and a performance in which you have to make progress. There must be a willingness to learn and to build up your skill and capacity. It must be fun, an art which you enjoy to partake in at any moment.
